Job Description
The University of Hartford's Barney School of Business seeks a Visiting Instructor of Economics to start in January 2023 for academic year 2022-2023. Successful candidates will be expected to teach Economics courses at both undergraduate and MBA level. Additionally, an ability and interest in teaching statistics is highly desirable.Candidates should demonstrate a capacity to engage diverse students in their teaching as well as an ability to attract diverse students to the college. Full-time Visiting faculty members will teach four courses per semester both on-ground and on-line and stay active in scholarship. The Barney School offers both day and evening classes

College Information
The Barney School offers both day and evening classes. The course load for this position is four courses per semester and represents a combination of both graduate and undergraduate courses. Graduate courses are offered online as well as onsite and faculty should be prepared to teach in both modalities, including hybrid options. There may also be opportunities to teach in our innovative University Interdisciplinary Studies (UIS) program
